Rob Hango-Zada, Co-Founder & Joint CEO, Shippit

Rob Hango-Zada is the co-founder and CEO of the fast growing shipment company and platform known as, Shippit. He is a leader in the company's business strategy, product and marketing efforts. Previous to his startup, Rob worked for the world's leading Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies across Asia. This corporate experience has allowed him to bring a common sense and customer centric approach to Australian retailing. He has significant knowledge and experience in converting customer insight and analytics into growth driving strategies for retailers such as Woolworths, Coles, Tesco, Priceline and numerous other global brands.  

When Rob is not at work he is a dedicated father who is a big fan of bold red wine, fancy socks and good design. 

William On, Co-Founder & CEO, Shippit

William On is the co-founder and CEO of the fast growing shipment company and platform known as, Shippit. After graduating from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2016, William worked in a number of different management roles, including project management and management consulting, for a range of large Australian banks. William has adopted the skills he has learnt through these roles to allow him to manage and support his own major company which he now co-founds with long term friend Rob Hango-Zada.  

A bit about Shippit

Shippit is a powerful technology engine for ecommerce that is creating the network that connects people to goods in the leanest way.

From humble beginnings in 2014 working with a handful of fashion and homeware boutiques in Sydney’s Surry Hills, Shippit now powers delivery for thousands of retailers of all sizes across Australia and New Zealand sending millions of deliveries every single month. And since July 2020, our software has also been powering ecommerce fulfilment in Singapore and Malaysia.

In 2020 there was a marked and permanent shift in consumer behaviour as a result of COVID-19 lockdowns, with ecommerce doubling in Australia. Shippit has grown rapidly as a result and, following its $30m Series B funding round led by Tiger Global, is now processing millions of orders every week.
